Ruddy Duck Brewery and Grill

Ruddy Duck Brewery & Grill is a brewpub in Southern Maryland founded by Carlos Yanez and Michael Kelley. They set out to create a lively space with handcrafted food and beer. Their stated approach is simple: a fun atmosphere, food made from scratch, hospitable service and good value. The kitchen buys fresh, never frozen jumbo lump crab, chicken, pork, mahi and salmon delivered daily, and it uses grass-fed, all-natural beef for its steaks and burgers. Seafood and produce come from local farmers whenever possible. Chicken wings are cooked fresh each day, and desserts, pizza dough, sauces, dressings, soups and the house chipas are all made in house. The brewpub is in Dowell, and a second location, Ruddy Duck Seafood & Alehouse, is in Piney Point. The brewpub hosts promotions and events.
