Unauthorized Brewing

Unauthorized Brewing is a small, independent craft brewery in North Beach. It was founded by three friends who share a passion for craft beer, and it brews on a two-barrel system. The small batches let the brewers experiment and develop new recipes often, so the tap list mixes familiar beers with new ones. The brewery says it is not tied to any particular styles, and its range runs from West Coast IPAs to English porters and much in between. The brewers prioritize regionally or locally sourced ingredients where they can, including regional malts and fresh hops, with the goal of beers that reflect the area. The owners also aim to have a positive and sustainable impact on the community, and the taproom sells merchandise and gift cards.
