Bayheads Brewing Company

Three lifelong friends, Bill, Charlie and Jason, founded Bayheads Brewing Company in 2016 in their hometown of Chesapeake City. The town sits on one of the country’s largest working canals, which links the Delaware and Chesapeake bays, near the head of the Chesapeake Bay. None of the three had commercial brewing experience when they started, but they shared a goal of making good beer for their hometown. Growing up boating on the bay and its tributaries shaped them, and that mix of boating, craft beer and community gave the brewery its name. The taproom has a full bar with beer brewed on site alongside bourbon, wine, cider and other spirits, and it has a crush bar. Growlers are available to go. Food comes from the neighboring Chesapeake Inn Restaurant and Marina, which delivers orders to guests at the brewery.
