RAR Brewing – Cambridge

RaR Brewing is a Cambridge brewery on the Chesapeake Bay that describes itself as local people brewing local beer. It has been brewing since the summer of 2013 in an older building that once held a pool hall and bowling alley. The owners aimed to preserve that history while producing well-balanced American-style beers, 10 barrels at a time. The business has since grown beyond the taproom to include other Cambridge spots: Chessie Burger for burgers, wings and hand-cut fries, a cocktail bar called the LabRARtory and a venue called The Dive Club. RaR also runs Chessie’s Wharf in Annapolis. Its beer is distributed, and the brewery sells merchandise, ships beer and hosts private events.
