Cypress Roots Brewing Co

Cypress Roots Brewing Company is the first brewery in Pocomoke City and calls itself Maryland’s southernmost brewery. Founder Jessmin has been brewing since 2012 and describes the beers as city-inspired, brought to a small-town taproom meant for families, friends and travelers passing through the Eastern Shore. The lineup includes Pocomoke Punch, an American wheat beer, and the flagship Cypress Red Ale, with rotating beers such as Carpe Noctem, a black IPA, and new seasonal releases. The brewery sees itself as part of downtown Pocomoke City’s growth and leans into community gatherings. Weekly trivia, live music and karaoke nights are part of the calendar, and merchandise is sold through the brewery’s shop.
