Pub Dog Brewing Company

Pub Dog Brewing Company in Westminster is the brewery behind Pub Dog Pizza and Drafthouse, which has paired thin-crust pizza with house-brewed beer in Maryland since 2001. The first Pub Dog opened in 2001 in Baltimore’s Federal Hill and quickly became known as Baltimore’s original gourmet pizza place. A second location followed in Columbia in 2007. The pubs serve personal-size thin-crust pizzas and salads alongside the house beers, which have long been sold two mugs at a time as a Dog Deal. The lineup runs from light, refreshing beers to rich, full-bodied ones, and guests can mix two beers together into what Pub Dog calls a mixed breed. Beer is available to take home in 32-ounce and 64-ounce containers. The Westminster brewery has a taproom and offers tours.
