Watchtower Brewing

Watchtower Brewing Company is a craft brewery and taproom in downtown Aberdeen, in Harford County. Its founders surveyed towns across the county before choosing Aberdeen, partly because the city had no brewery of its own, and they credit city leaders with helping the project along, including updating ordinances that stood in the way. The name dates to 2018 and draws on the image of a lighthouse as a landmark that guides people home, reflecting the goal of drawing visitors downtown. The brewery aims for beer that is interesting but approachable, so newcomers and longtime craft drinkers can both find something on the tap list. It runs Cruisin’ at Watchtower, a monthly warm-season car night in Aberdeen’s Festival Park, and also hosts yoga sessions and private events.
