Brewery Fire

Brewery Fire is a taphouse in Taneytown, in Carroll County, that brews its beer on site. Founder and brewmaster Jesse Johnson set out to build a hometown gathering place, and the taproom has a retro, pop culture-inspired theme. It includes Executor IPA, a golden ale called W.T.F. (What the Fire), Cowabunga Dude New England IPA, a Mexican lager called A Warm Place With No Memories, the American lager Murica and a blackberry hard seltzer, with seasonal beers rotating through. Food comes from food trucks on a regular schedule or from the grille at the bowling alley next door. Local bands, trivia nights and other live entertainment fill the calendar, and the brewery presents itself as a place for friends, neighbors and beer lovers to come together.
