Inverness Brewing

Inverness Brewing is a farm brewery on Inverness, a historic 100-acre farm in Monkton, in Baltimore County. The farm raises about 50 Black Angus cattle and grows 600 hop plants along with seasonal crops. The brewery started from the owners’ love of entertaining friends and family, and it began brewing in August 2018 as Baltimore County’s first farm brewery. Its beers follow what it calls a crop-to-keg approach, with recipes built around seasonal ingredients. The taproom is open year-round and has music and games. An on-site food trailer serves a full menu, and outside food is not allowed, except for birthday cakes. Dogs are not permitted. Growlers and crowlers are available to take home, and visitors are encouraged to explore the farm, which the brewery presents as a chance to experience farm life along with farm food and beer.
