Wet City Brewing

Wet City Brewing is a brewery, full bar and restaurant in Baltimore. Its name comes from Prohibition history. Maryland never passed a state act to enforce the federal ban, so the Chesapeake Bay became a favorite port for bootleggers and Maryland earned a reputation as the wettest state in the union. Baltimore served as a center of resistance until repeal, and the brewery embraces that rule-breaking past. House beers, including lagers, sours and IPAs, share the menu with cocktails, wine and whiskey. The kitchen serves burgers, tacos, wings and chicken sandwiches, with weekly theme nights built around them. Seating indoors and outdoors is first come, first served, and orders are placed with the bartender. Carryout is available, and the team handles larger reservations, off-site events and catering on request.
