Patriot Acres Farm Brewery

Patriot Acres Farm Brewery is a farm brewery in Sudlersville, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, owned and run by a veteran. It sits on a 103-acre working farm that the Truitt family has owned for more than a century and that is now run by its fourth generation. Brian, his wife Shawna and their son Cooper live on the farm. They began with alpacas and a few chickens, and the farm now keeps well over 100 chickens along with alpacas, goats, sheep, geese, a duck and livestock guardian dogs. Because of the animals, pets are not allowed. The brewery uses hops and other ingredients grown on the farm, and its tap list changes weekly so that regulars can find something new. The owners hope families will make visits a tradition, and activities are offered for children. An on-site store sells handmade goods, and the grounds offer quiet countryside views.
