Reckless Shepherd

Reckless Shepherd Brewery is a brewery and taphouse in Columbia, in Howard County, built around the idea that beer, food and music bring people together. It is named for the owner’s German Shepherd, Radar, and the brewery says the breed’s bold, resilient character shapes its approach to beer, food and events. The house-brewed core lineup includes Loyally Blonde, a blonde ale; Mellow Howl, a West Coast IPA; Hasty Hazy, a hazy pale ale; and Aspiring Redneck, a light lager. The brewery shares its building with Frisco, a restaurant that also has a location in Gambrills. Together they offer a full food and cocktail menu with weekly specials, live music and a busy nightlife scene. Multiple private event spaces are available for corporate gatherings and private parties.
