Flood Zone Brewery

Flood Zone Marketplace and Brewery is a family-owned brewery and market in Union Bridge, set on the banks of Little Pipe Creek. The building began as a family grocery store in the 1960s and has come through decades of storms, including Tropical Storm Agnes in 1972, which the owners see as a sign of the town’s resilience. Jerry and Beth Stambaugh bought it in fall 2018 and renovated it into a gathering place for both locals and visitors. Alongside the brewery, the marketplace hosts vendors selling local produce, groceries and crafts, and a kitchen called The Food Spot serves food. Outside, a large dog-friendly beer garden has fire pits and two serving windows, and there is a heated pavilion and a patio with a wood-burning fireplace. Weekly trivia, cornhole nights and weekend live music are regular features, and the brewery also offers catering.
