About

Guilford Hall Brewery is a brewery, restaurant and event venue in Baltimore’s Station North Arts District, set in an 1898 industrial building. The building was put up for Crown Cork & Seal, the company founded by William Painter, who invented the modern crown bottle cap. It later made bottling machines and equipment there. The brewery leans on Baltimore’s German brewing heritage, and the beer list centers on Bavarian-inspired styles such as a festbier, a dunkel bock and a Baltimore pilsner. The restaurant serves European-style food, and the building also houses a cigar and whisky lounge. The Crown Room hosts weddings, private parties and corporate events for up to 200 guests. Guilford Hall belongs to a group that also runs Baltimore Brewhouse and Maryland Yards, and it books a mobile beer truck for events.
