Independent Brewing Company

Independent Brewing Company, known as IBCo, is a brewery and taproom in Bel Air, in Harford County, founded in 2015. Its founders were driven by small-batch, creative brewing and by the wish to build a gathering place for neighbors and friends, and it remains committed to its independent roots. The rotating lineup of ales, ciders and seasonal beers often uses ingredients sourced in Harford County. The brewery’s beer is brewed to be gluten free, and it also offers seltzers, slushies and non-alcoholic options. Beer is sold to go in four-packs, six-packs, crowlers and kegs. The brewery invites visitors to stop in after the Ma and Pa Trail, and the taproom and patio host live music, trivia, open mic nights, yoga sessions and food vendors on the calendar. IBCo also runs a mobile taproom for events.
