Weber’s Cider Mill Farm
About
Weber’s Cider Mill Farm is a family farm market and cider mill in Parkville. Four generations of the Weber family have grown fruit and vegetables there since 1908. Early on, they hauled produce into Baltimore by horse and wagon and often sold it door to door, and they began selling from the farm as the city grew out to meet it. The farm says its cider mill is the oldest in Maryland that has stayed in continuous use. Apples are still pressed on the Runkle’s Company mill Earl Weber bought in 1947 from a farmer in New Jersey. Run since 1971 by Jo-Ann and Steve Weber, the market and mill now include a bakery with apple cider doughnuts and pies, fudge, ice cream and a gift shop. A barnyard area has farm animals, mazes, a hillside slide and hayrides, and the fall harvest season brings pumpkins and food trucks.
