Sandbox Brewhouse

Sandbox Brewhouse is a family-owned brewery and taproom in Frederick, established in 2025. Its tagline is Brewed for Everyone. The owners describe it as a place where community and creativity come together, and the versatile space can be set up for different events. The taproom pours beer along with seltzer and non-alcoholic drinks, and an outdoor patio adds seating on warmer nights. The weekly calendar is busy and leans toward participation, with trivia, karaoke, open mic nights, songwriter sessions and workshops, creative hours, board game nights and live music. Food trucks visit, and outside food is allowed except when a truck is on site. The brewery is pet-friendly and welcomes leashed, sociable dogs inside and out, with cats welcome too. Guests are invited to suggest ideas for new events, and a monthly newsletter keeps followers up to date.
