Smoketown Brewing

Smoketown Brewing is a brewery and restaurant in downtown Brunswick, set inside a restored fire station. The name nods to Brunswick’s railroad history, and trains still pass within view of the brewery’s dog-friendly patio, which also looks out on the bridge. The brewers keep a rotating lineup of craft beers on tap, and the taproom also runs a full bar and serves dinner. Upstairs at Smoketown, a renovated second-floor hall that keeps many of the building’s original architectural details, holds up to 400 people. It is mainly a venue for ticketed shows but can also be booked for private parties, corporate events, fundraisers and other community gatherings. The calendar stays busy year-round, with live music, music bingo and other entertainment, and the brewery positions itself as a hometown gathering place for Brunswick.
